Hi all Hemet grad class "73" nick-name Archie given to me while at a football game with my cousins the Cultons, Reid, Ross, & Scott. Scotts friend at that time named Manny Bramlet (? spelling) made fun of my real name. And Archie stuck. My friend Kim dealing with the yearbook commity in "73" used my nick-name with my senior picture, my Granny hated that but I loved it. Thanks for those fun days manny, kim, diane anderson, sherry calhoun, ed reid, all drama students "71-73", carole christofer, lorie phiffiney, rita diez, and my good friend who's little brother was born days apart from mine WES HIGHTOWER.I do miss you. Hi Ya, Audrey (Archie Nunley) Morales here, A few years ago I sent a BIO to another student from class of "71/72","oops" not to classmates, I'm a Big Rig Truck Driver, local & long haul. Yep! BIG TRUCK for 11 years now, I started Driving in '75' School Buses,then Coach Operator(OCTA)then Stright Truck , Then BIG TRUCK. With-in the last 2 years made a slight change, Now I drive 9-Speed 2-seat Daycab Conv.& pull Flat-Bed/Drop-Deck, & haul 'ya know' MACHINERY&MATERIALS & HEAVY ...Expand for more
EQUIPMENT, Insted of Loadlocks and Sealed Loads on Refers/Dryvans it's Chains&Binders, or Straps&Rachets (with my custom made Cheater-bar, it's a(CHEATER-CHEATER BAR) to help me chain down like the big boys do. No way am I gonna loose a 955 Front Loader or that Newholland Backhoe on any SO.CAL.FWY . I sure eat a lot of dirt when unloading/dropping at jobsite, but I love the job. When pullin 53' Boxes we drive 13-18- speed Petes/Volvos with huge sleepers big enough for 2 drivers comfortably coast-to-coast. (I DRIVE SOLO), But backing trailers to docks with 53' trailers on both sides just about 12' apart takes more work than offloading at jobsite & I really feel like a Bigger Truck Driver in a Big Truck than in a Daycab & bigger is always faster,& looks too cool, but thats not what Driving trucks about right? I know it's not how fast or how good look'in IT'S THE POWER & HOW YOU USE IT THAT MATTERS. My handle on the CB is 'CHANCE'. Raised in SO.CAL.on these FREEWAY DAY-IN-DAY-OUT in a Big Truck 'wheew'(NO TRAFFIC LIKE IN LA THATS AN EXPERIANCE) I love driving Big Truck in NEW YORK CITY, there traffic dos'nt compare. But SNOW, now that's a different EXPERIANCE cuz WE DON'T HAVE SNOW IN SO.CAL. not in LA. :):)Audrey:):)
